Why it works

Locked down for strangers. Effortless for clients.

  • A passcode per shoot

    Four digits, easy to read out over the phone. You can switch the passcode off for galleries you’re happy to share widely.

  • Guessing is blocked

    Five wrong tries locks that device out of the gallery for ten minutes, so passcodes can’t be brute-forced.

  • Regenerate in one click

    Need to lock someone out? A new passcode stops the old one working and signs everyone out of that gallery.

  • Links that expire

    Choose 30, 60 or 90 days. Extend or reopen any time, and clients can ask you to reopen when they need it.

  • Hide what shouldn’t be seen

    Hidden photos are never sent to the client’s browser. They stay in your shoot, out of the gallery.

  • Switch a link off

    Turn a gallery off instantly and back on later, without changing its link.

    Photos go into private storage. There are no public URLs to guess or share.

    Send them together by email or message, or print the QR card for an in-person handover.

Why a passcode

Accounts protect you. Passcodes protect your client’s patience.

Many client galleries ask visitors for an email address, or for an account, before they can favourite or download. It works, but every extra step loses a few clients, and grandparents rarely get past the verification email.

SendShoot uses a short passcode instead, and makes it hard to abuse. Guesses are rate-limited, photos live in private storage and are only served to someone who has unlocked the gallery, and gallery pages are marked so search engines don’t index them. If a link travels further than you meant, a new passcode closes the door.

Questions photographers ask.

Yes. Each shoot has a “Require passcode” switch. With it off, anyone with the link can open the gallery.

Anyone with both can open the gallery. Regenerate the passcode and the old one stops working straight away, and everyone is signed out.

No. Gallery pages tell search engines not to index them, and the photos themselves are only served to people who have unlocked the gallery.

You see when it was opened, on what kind of device and roughly where, plus downloads and picks. Clients aren’t asked who they are.
